About My Folder

"My Folder" is a place for you to store all of your favorite links and resources found on the Virginia Career VIEW web site. It is conveniently located at the top of every page. As you navigate through the site, you will see opportunities to add items to your folder. Once they are added, they will always be accessible directly from your My Folder page. To get started, you must either log in or register to create a new account.

Log In

To use My Folder, you must be logged in. If you haven't already done so, please login now. The login link can also be found at the top and bottom of every page or underneath a featured item within the site. You can also find a log in button on the My Folder page. If you already have an account, enter your email address and password when prompted. If you do not have an account, begin the registration process by entering your email address and the password you would like to use. Press "Continue." You will then be asked basic information to complete your registration. Press "Continue" again and you are now registered and logged in!

The "My Folder" Screen

The My Folder screen will display all of your favorites links. If you have not yet saved any favorites, you will see a site map that can be used to browse the site. To quickly find resources that can be added to your folder, use the top navigation bar to select the age group you are interested in. This will lead you to all of the featured items for that section. Underneath each featured item, you will see the "Add to My Folder" icon. Click on the icon to add that item to your folder.

To view your folder, click on the My Folder icon at the top of the screen. You will now see the resources you have added. A resource can be deleted by clicking the delete icon next to each item.
